2 tablespoons granulated sugar
For the Topping:Creamy Strawberry Cheese cake Bars
Fresh strawberries, sliced (for garnish)Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Begin by preheating your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
2. **Prepare the Crust:**
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool.
3. **Create the Strawberry Swirl:**
Puree the chopped strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a blender or food processor until smooth. Set aside.
4. **Make the Cheesecake Filling:**
Beat the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add sugar and beat until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and flour until just combined.
5. **Assemble the Bars:**
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Spoon dollops of the strawberry puree onto the cream cheese mixture. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the strawberry puree, creating a marbled effect.
6. **Bake:**
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set, and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan on a wire rack.
7. **Chill:**
Once completely cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake bars for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
8. **Serve:**
Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhangs. Slice into squares, garnish with fresh strawberry slices, and add a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
