Ingredients:

For Marination: 250g paneer (cubed)         For the Tandoori Masala:

1 cup thick yogurt                                        1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste.                 1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon red chili powder                      1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 tablespoon coriander powder                    1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder                         1/2 teaspoon black salt
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste

Other Ingredients:
1 large bell pepper (cut into chunks)
1 large onion (cut into chunks)
Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions:

Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to form a smooth paste.

Marinate the Paneer:
Add paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
Let it marinate for at least 1-2 hours in the refrigerator. Longer marination enhances the flavor.

Prepare the Tandoori Masala:
In a small bowl, mix cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, red chili powder, and black salt. Set aside.

Assemble the Skewers:
Preheat your grill or oven to a high temperature.
Thread marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion alternately onto the skewers.

Grilling/Baking:
Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven.
Grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer and vegetables are cooked and have a nice char.

Tandoori Masala Coating:
While the skewers are grilling, lightly sprinkle the tandoori masala over them.

Serve Hot:
Once the paneer is cooked, remove from heat.
Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.

Tips:
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent them from burning.
You can also add a tablespoon of besan (gram flour) to the marinade for a crispier texture.
Adjust spice levels according to your taste preferences.

Enjoy your homemade Paneer Tikka.
